The Downtown Boston Golf Pro Shop was located at 116 Huntington Avenue on the first floor corner facing the Copley Place to Prudential pedestrian Skybridge.  

​

This Golf Pro Shop was the early tenant for this Shell-and-Core retail space so the tenant renovations included extending all building systems to serve this new retail shop as well as construction of new finishes and furnishings, signage facing Huntington Avenue and entrance improvements following the building owner's requirements and meeting all local building code access and disability requirements.

GDHA provided the Golf Shop owner all architectural design, interior design and color selections and custom built-in furnishings detailing, construction permitting including attendance at special disability access hearings as to issues related to raised putting green interior to the shop (at window level and with views to and from the adjacent Copley Place to Prudential Skybridge), preparation of all drawings and Engineering coordination, construction inspections, and project close-out.

The retail concept for this shop, conceived by the shop owner, centered on service to downtown hotel visitors wishing to include a visit to local Boston area golf courses as well as downtown office workers wishing to shop during a lunch break or after hours.  

 

This downtown office-retail building is in the heart of world-class restaurants, shopping, hotels, and a lively Boston Back Bay neighborhood.
